Over the weekends i didn't get to make macaroons. But instead i made creme caramel. At first i looked at the recipe and it seemed simple enough. When i was making the sugar and pouring it onto the bowls I got confused. I divided the sugar mixture evenly into the bowls but then it started to solidify. IT was like it turned into candy. I thought i did it wrong but after putting the creme mixture in and baking it, the 'candy' turned into a liquid. i was soo happy. And it tasted delicious!
GUESS WHAT MY MOST FAVOURITE DESSERT IS?
Food look more appealing if it has colour, height and clean. You wouldnt like to eat something that was flat, brown and all over the plate. But this isnt always the case. Say, you were cooking crepes. Sure you could place it flat. But you could try addint colour. Example, strawberries or blueberries. You just have to be creative.
When i am older, i hope to enter masterchef! And when u guys see me on TV, you guys will go; "OMG thats raymond!"
When i realized that my dream was to become a chef, i tried my best to be involved with food more. I helped around the kitchen, looked up recipes on the net and i also improvised and created my own dishes. When i grow up, i dream that i will become a famous chef that owns a restaurant beside the harbor! Also, my dream is to create a brand new original recipe. Why do i like to cook? Well obviously cooking is fun. You get to experiment with fun and tasty flavors and it also brings our your creativity through presenting your food. So yeah, that is my dream. If you guys have dreams of what you want to do i suggest you stick with it and stay positive. So search my name on Google in a few years time and visit me at my restaurant :) And thats it for this post.
