Last friday it was my cousins birthday and we went to celebrate at The little snail
. I had the Paté Maison for entree. It was tough deciding what to have for the main. I wanted to try something unique so i chose the 'Magret de Canard'. Duck breast fillet with wok tossed spinach and a cassis and raspberry sauce. I was kind of intrigued by the combination of duck and raspberry. But when it came out, i tasted the sauce. It was pretty nice. Then i ate it with the duck. The flavours really complemented each other. The sauce was not really sweet but just a little to give it that punch. This dish has inspired me to try to prepare this dish. I have found a similar recipe to this but instead of raspberries, the recipe says to use blackcurrants.
